Something curious has occurred: the tools we use to shape our world are shaping the way we think and talk about ourselves.
We talk about our "bandwidth" and our need to "recharge" like we are just another one of the machines we use to work in our world. But ideas like this have consequences.
If we talk about ourselves like machines, will we begin treating ourselves (and others) like machines? And is this the way that Jesus would talk about us?
